but, seriously, it is so easy to get jaded in the fashion world (or regular world). I see it all the time, at every level. assistants or interns who start feeling entitled… senior editors who start adopting a “don’t you know who I am attitude”. one of the most important skills you can have—and foster— is an unexpected one… ready for it?

it’s the deliberate and assiduous effort to not become jaded. on the eve of my—oh my word—tenth year of shows, I’m just as grateful today as I was as a clueless assistant for a) getting access to this dreamy, magical, crazy, frenetic, absurd, frivolous, strategic, inspiring world and b) being able to share it with you all. stay tuned for pictures galore xx
